The entry lists have been published for World RX of Portugal next month (3-4 June), with no fewer than 46 cars set to take to the track at the popular Circuito Internacional de Montalegre across the three competing categories.

Montalegre hosted the very first FIA World Rallycross Championship event back in 2014, and will this year welcome the discipline’s top flight for the eighth time. A ten-strong line-up in the all-electric headline act features multiple World Rallycross Champion Johan Kristoffersson, WRC record-holder and all-round motorsport legend Sébastien Loeb in a Lancia Delta, 2019 World Rallycross Champion Timmy Hansen, his race-winning brother Kevin Hansen and rising Swedish star Klara Andersson amongst others.

Defending champion Anton Marklund will bid to immediately bounce back from the first corner collision that potentially cost him victory in the ‘Red Cauldron’, as arch-rival Jānis Baumanis aims to continue his winning streak.

A large 19-car grid is assembled in Euro RX3, more than half of whom are local heroes. João Ribeiro in particular will be eager to come away with a good result in front of his home crowd, after his Hungarian weekend ended in a spectacular barrel-roll at the semi-final stage...
