Fans will have a choice of seven different spectator zones to watch from at Ferratum World RX of Rīga-Latvia on 3-4 September, with tickets now on sale for the eagerly-anticipated double-header race weekend.
A popular fixture on the World Championship schedule since 2016, this year, the Biķernieki Circuit will host not only the headlining World RX act – fully electric for the first time – but also the supporting FIA RX2e Championship and the FIA European Rallycross Championship’s top-tier category, Euro RX1.
In the latter competition, home hero Jānis Baumanis will be aiming to replicate his crowd-pleasing victory from last season when he returns in #YellowSquad’s Peugeot 208.
‘Early Bird’ prices will remain fixed until 3 July, with adult admission beginning at just €15 and all tickets granting access to both days of racing. Free-standing and grandstand options are available, as are VIP passes. Maximum quantities apply, and tickets will increase in price from 4 July. Additional information can be found here.
“We have once again planned the location of spectator zones so that rallycross competition can be watched by the widest possible audience,” commented Raimonds Strokšs, Director of Ferratum World RX of Rīga-Latvia promoter, RA Events.
“We are happy that after a long period of time, we have managed to bring Grandstand C back to our venue plan, allowing spectators to once again see how these powerful World Rallycross cars tackle the difficult gravel section of the circuit – the big jump and the following 180-degree corner.
“In more great news, the Ferratum World RX of Rīga-Latvia paddock this year will be fully open and accessible to all spectators, and tickets will allow access to both days of competition, enabling fans to fully enjoy the magic and adrenaline that World RX events bring.”
