Patrick Guillerme first appeared in the FIA World Rallycross Championship on home soil at Lohéac in 2014 behind the wheel of a Peugeot 208, rejoining the fray in the same event two years later.
In 2017, he again entered his home round of the series, this time in Euro RX and reaching the semi-final stage in a capacity 35-car field. Three outings followed in 2018 before the Frenchman swapped his Peugeot for a Hyundai i20 for 2019, once more advancing to the semi-finals at Lohéac. Guillerme returned to World RX in Barcelona at the end of the 2020 campaign, piloting his Hyundai to a points-scoring result on both days.
