Unkorrupted is an alliance between French rallycross organisations GCK and G-FORS. Formerly known as GC Kompetition, GCK was founded by four-time World Freeriding Champion-turned-rally and rallycross driver Guerlain Chicherit in 2017.
The following year, the team fielded a brace of Renault Méganes – built and operated by British motorsport engineering specialist Prodrive – in the FIA World Rallycross Championship, with Chicherit progressing to the final second time out and team-mate Jérôme Grosset-Janin achieving the squad’s best result that season with third place in Sweden.
GCK expanded to four cars in 2019 – incorporating the new, two-strong GCK Academy – with a fifth joining the fold midway through and Anton Marklund reaching the rostrum at both Silverstone and Lohéac.
The Swede remained on-board in 2020, racing under the GCK Bilstein banner, with 2019 World Championship runner-up Andreas Bakkerud and X Games gold medallist Liam Doran teaming up for Monster Energy GCK RX Cartel, all three of them piloting Méganes. The former GCK Academy Renault Clios, meanwhile, were handled by Chicherit, Rokas Baciuška and Kevin Abbring in the rebranded Unkorrupted side of the garage. Marklund registered the team’s only podium in the Barcelona season finale.
The Unkorrupted name remains in 2021, with a single-car effort for Abbring and technical support from G-FORS, a collaboration between Chicherit and French Rallycross Championship stalwart FORS Performance. G-FORS previously ran Clios for JB Dubourg and Jere Kalliokoski in the FIA European Rallycross Championship’s headlining Supercar (now RX1) class.
