Anders Michalak enjoyed a successful two-wheeled career before turning his attentions to car racing, securing multiple Swedish hillclimbing titles and finishing as runner-up in both the Swedish and Nordic Supermoto Championships.

From 2014 to 2016, he contested the Swedish Crosskart Championship, placing fourth in his last year. He joined the FIA World Rallycross Championship package in the nascent RX2 Series in 2017, advancing to the semi-final stage on four occasions with a highlight of fifth position in France.

The following year, Michalak improved upon his best result with fourth at Silverstone, before concluding the 2019 campaign a career-high eighth in the championship, tallying six semi-final appearances from seven starts.

In parallel with that, the Swede competed in RallyX Nordic’s Supercar Lites category from 2017 to 2019, winding up sixth overall in his last season in the series and reaching the rostrum at both Finnskogbanen and Kouvola. In 2020, he stepped up to Supercar (now RX1) level and netted fifth in the Drivers’ standings, which he backed up with seventh position a year later, achieving a best finish of fourth in Finland.

Michalak made his Euro RX1 debut on home soil at Höljes in 2021.
