After winning the European Autocross Championship in the TouringAutocross division in 2017, Aleš Fučík stepped up to rallycross, contesting three full campaigns in FIA Euro RX’s headlining Supercar (now Euro RX1) category from 2018 to 2020, initially in a Škoda Fabia before switching to an ex-Marklund Motorsport Volkswagen Polo.

Reaching the semi-final stage on three occasions, the Czech ace improved from 32nd in the standings in 2018 to 16th in 2019 and eighth in 2020, in the last of those seasons, outscoring former championship runner-up Thomas Bryntesson amongst others. Still competing under the KRTZ Motorsport ACCR Czech Team banner, Fučík made two appearances in 2021 – scoring points both times – before returning to the fray in 2022.
