A large crowd at Höljes enjoyed a dramatic and action-packed opening day of competition in round two of the 2022 FIA European Rallycross Championship at Höljes today (2 July), with Oliver Solberg ultimately emerging on top as he seeks to overturn his family’s run of bad luck at the legendary ‘Magic Weekend’.
Andreas Bakkerud has promised to give Johan Kristoffersson ‘a run for his money’ at Höljes this weekend (2-3 July), as the Norwegian predicts ‘a hectic last lap’ should the pair be running first and second in the all-important final.
He might be widely regarded as the pre-event favourite for glory, but four-time FIA World Rallycross Champion Johan Kristoffersson has picked out as many as nine potential winners in the headlining Euro RX1 category during Höljes’ legendary ‘Magic Weekend’ (2-3 July).
