Euro entries out for World RX of Benelux

The entry lists have today been published for the Euro RX1 and Euro RX3 categories at World RX of Benelux next month (17-18 August).

Mettet is always a popular stop on the FIA European Rallycross Championship calendar, and this summer, the Circuit Jules Tacheny will play host to the penultimate round in the title fight – setting the scene for a sensational scrap in both classes.

Patrick O’Donovan is the early-season championship leader in Euro RX1 following his second consecutive ‘Magic Weekend’ triumph. The rising British star is sure to face stiff opposition, however, from Höljes runner-up Mika Liimatainen and team-mate Mikko Ikonen in their rapid Hyundai i20s, not to mention Volland Racing pairing Damian Litwinowicz and Yury Belevskiy, Sivert Svardal in his family-run Volkswagen Polo and series sophomore Máté Benyó (Peugeot 208).

In Euro RX3, Nils Volland and João Ribeiro set the pace in Sweden, but Hungarian duo Sámuel Kovács and Balázs Körmöczi proved that the Audi drivers will not have things all their own way this year by showcasing some scintillating speed of their own.
