‘Early Bird’ tickets released for Euro RX’s return to Essay

‘Early Bird’ tickets for the FIA European Rallycross Championship’s return to the Circuit des Ducs at Essay in France (8-9 June) are now on sale.

For the first time in 13 years, the Normandy venue will reverberate to the sound of top-flight international rallycross this spring, with competitors in the Euro RX1, Euro RX3 and RX2e categories all in action over the two-day event as they open their accounts for the 2024 campaign.

The popular Circuit des Ducs is in the midst of a significant overhaul, having been taken under new ownership in late 2023, with upgrades to the venue’s infrastructure and facilities set to enhance the experience for teams, drivers, guests and spectators, while preserving its traditional amphitheatre-like soul.

Discounted ‘Early Bird’ tickets for the Euro RX event – which will remain on sale until midnight CET on 5 May – cost €57,50 for adult weekend admission, alongside options for single-day passes (€32,50 for Saturday or €37,50 for Sunday). Children aged from 12-to-16 will be admitted for €10 on Saturday, €15 on Sunday or €20 for the full weekend, while under-12s go free.

Camping is also available, with tent pitches costing €20 and caravan/motorhome places €47,50, including the use of toilet and shower facilities.

“We are very excited to release tickets for the Euro RX event,” commented circuit owner, Howard MacPherson. “A lot of people are putting a lot of work into making the return of international rallycross to France very special, and we’re very much looking forward to the weekend, which is drawing ever closer. In the meantime, we have a number of testing days still available for teams and drivers to sample the circuit and see the changes we’ve made.

“There have already been some exciting driver announcements, and we are expecting a number of French drivers to participate as they take on the best in Europe. We are looking forward to revealing which top international names will be in action over the coming weeks, too.”
