Top-flight international rallycross returned to Mettet last
summer following an absence of five years, and 12 months on, fans can look
forward to a double dose of entertainment from the headlining World RX act, as
well as a full complement of support series in the shape of the FIA RX2e
Championship and the FIA European Rallycross Championship’s Euro RX1 and Euro
RX3 categories.
The innovative ‘Battle of Technologies’ concept will pit
the pioneering electric RX1e cars directly against their sustainably-fuelled
RX1 combustion counterparts for the first time, setting the scene for an intriguing
duel as the sport plots a path towards a more environmentally-friendly future while preserving its key DNA –
raw adrenaline.
There are a variety of ticket options, with adult Sunday admission
on sale for €50 – rising to €60 for the full weekend. There are reduced rates for juniors aged
from 12 to 17, with children aged 11 and under admitted free of charge.
Camping slots are available at a
supplement of €26 per person, granting access to the campsite from 12:00 CET on Friday, 16 August
until 10:00 CET on Monday, 19 August.
