Tickets on sale for Nyirád’s World Championship debut

Tickets have gone on sale for Hungary’s first-ever World RX event at Nyirád on 27-28 July – with tempting ‘Early Bird’ prices until the end of June.

Tickets have today gone on sale for Hungary’s first-ever FIA World Rallycross Championship event at Nyirád Racing Center on 27-28 July – with tempting ‘Early Bird’ prices until the end of June.

Following an absence of almost a decade, Nyirád rejoined the FIA European Rallycross Championship calendar in 2022. So successful has that return been, the circuit – affectionately known as the ‘Red Cauldron’ due to the distinctive colour of its unsealed surfaces – will now welcome the sport’s elite in 2024.

That means fans can look forward to a jam-packed weekend of double-header action from World RX’s new ‘Battle of Technologies’, as well as a full bill of pulsating support series in the shape of Euro RX1, Euro RX3 and the FIA RX2e Championship.

General admission begins at just €25 for Saturday, €31 for Sunday or €48 for both days, with reduced rates for juniors aged from 12 to 16. Accompanied children aged under 12 will be admitted to the venue free-of-charge.

Grandstand seating is available at a small premium (free-of-charge to children under six, provided they do not require their own seat), while there are additional options for camping, VIP packages and combined tickets for the World RX event in July and the FIA European Autocross Championship race weekend at Nyirád on 17-18 August. Parking must be paid for on-site and costs €3 per vehicle per day.

The ’Early Bird’ discount is in-place until 30 June. For further information or to purchase tickets, click here.
