VOTE for the Best RX2e Driver of 2023!

Three drivers duked it out for the RX2e title in 2023, with the destiny of the crown only decided in the last race of the season, while it was a fast Finnish ‘wild card’ who won the most rounds – but who gets your vote as the cream of the crop?

Three drivers duked it out for glory in the FIA RX2e Championship in 2023, with the destiny of the coveted crown only decided in the very last race of the campaign, while it was a fast Finnish ‘wild card’ who triumphed the most – but who gets your vote as the cream of the crop?

Nils Andersson ultimately prevailed by holding his nerve at Germany’s Estering towards the end of the summer. Surprisingly, the Swede has yet to win a round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship support series, but his consistency last year was unparalleled and he was the only competitor to reach the final in all five outings, which proved to be the secret to his success.

Isak Sjökvist sped to victory in the curtain-raiser in Norway but thereafter struggled to reproduce that stellar form, with a fallow mid-season period seeing the #YellowSquad star fall just short in his pursuit of the title.

Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky was a podium-finisher on her series debut in Hell and scooped the runner-up spoils behind guest entrant Johan Kristoffersson at Mettet. The Swede consistently took the fight to countrymen Andersson and Sjökvist – both considerably more experienced than her in rallycross – while Tommi Hallman went undefeated in his two appearances at Lydden Hill and the Estering, marking the SET Promotion ace out as a potential future champion.

So who gets your vote for 2023 RX2e ‘Driver of the Year’? Choose carefully – you can select only one...
