Pluto TV, a Paramount company and leading provider of free ad-supported streaming television (FAST), has partnered with the FIA World Rallycross Championship to broadcast all 2022 World RX events live via the new RX TV channel, which will be available in Denmark and Norway from 1 July.

Höljes’ legendary ‘Magic Weekend’ in Sweden on 2-3 July will be the first live event on the 24/7 rallycross channel. The news follows today’s launch of Pluto TV in the Nordic region, through a transformational partnership with Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group).

Pluto TV is the leading free streaming television service delivering hundreds of live linear channels and thousands of titles on-demand to a global audience of nearly 68 million monthly active users.

All four championships – the newly-electric World RX headline act, the RX2e feeder series and the combustion-powered Euro RX1 and Euro RX3 – will be part of the package.

To give viewers even more reason to tune in, Denmark’s Ulrik Linnemann and Norway’s Sivert Svardal – the latter the recipient of the 2021 Cooper Tires ‘Rookie of the Year’ accolade – are both expected to be amongst the front-runners in the Euro RX1 category over the coming months.

Phillip Männer, Media Rights Director at Rallycross Promoter, said:

“We are delighted to confirm this pioneering new partnership with Pluto TV, to reward World RX’s loyal Danish and Norwegian fans with hours upon hours of fast-paced entertainment. Rallycross has a proud tradition in both countries, and we are confident the RX TV channel will help to bring the action to more viewers than ever before and reach new audiences at an exciting time for the championship as World RX goes fully electric.”

Pluto TV is now available for free in the Nordic region, with no registration required. Users can watch Pluto TV online at www.pluto.tv, via the Pluto TV app for Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung and LG devices or via mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play. Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV will be available in the Nordic region from June.
