Montalegre tickets on sale

Tickets for the newly re-named Lusorecursos World RX of Portugal at Montalegre on 17/18 September are now on sale – with a 20 per cent discount on two-day passes for Early Birds and a special offer for those who purchased tickets last season.

Following an absence of more than three years, the Circuito Internacional de Montalegre – which hosted the very first FIA World Rallycross Championship event back in 2014 – returned to the schedule in 2021, producing some epic battles between champion-elect Johan Kristoffersson and Hansen brothers Timmy and Kevin.

Just under 12 months on, the popular Portuguese track will stage a double bill of electrifying World Championship entertainment, while also welcoming the FIA European Rallycross Championship’s Euro RX1 and Euro RX3 series for what promises to be an unmissable weekend of non-stop, no-holds-barred action.

Organised as ever by the Municipality of Montalegre and the Clube Automóvel de Vila Real, the event will be preceded by a promotional activity on the streets of the nearby village bearing the same name – Montalegre’s famous ‘Friday the 13^th’ celebration, which is sure to attract a large and enthusiastic crowd.

Ticket prices for the race weekend have once again remained unchanged, beginning at only €25, with a launch promotion of 20 per cent off two-day passes until 11 June. There is also a 50 per cent discount for those that purchased tickets for the 2021 event prior to midnight on 7 October last year. These offers may not be used in conjunction with one another.
