A double champion in the FIA European Rallycross Championship’s Super1600 class, Szabo is an accomplished racer who has systematically developed his career with the goal of joining the FIA World Rallycross Championship.
As a teenager Szabo was a successful skier, in motor sport he was Hungarian Autocross champion in 2008 – when just 16-years-old. He won the FIA Junior Buggy title in autocross in 2009 and 2010 and an adult European Championship in 2013 before making his European Rallycross Championship debut in Italy 2014 where he finished third.
Third in the Super1600 championship in 2015, Szabo then won back-to-back Super1600 titles in 2016 and 2017. Szabo moved to Supercar in 2018 but made just two starts in the FIA European Championship, placing second in France and sixth in Latvia racing an EKS Audi S1.
