Tuesday 12th of December 2017

The first tickets for the Neste World RX of Latvia, round nine of the 2018 FIA World Rallycross Championship have gone on sale today (December 12).

The Bikernieki circuit held it’s first ever World RX event on the outskirts of Riga in 2016, which was won by France’s Sebastien Loeb. This year, Sweden’s Johan Kristoffersson won the Baltic States event and at the same time secured the World RX Drivers’ Championship title, as PSRX Volkswagen Sweden claimed the Teams’ Championship.

The third running of the Latvian event will take place in mid-Septemner (15-16) next year, and a limitied number of early-bird tickets have gone on sale, with discounts for general access tickets and for Grandstands A, B, C and D. VIP tickets are also avalible.

“Ahead of Christmas we have decided to please motorsport fans and their closest ones. For the next three days, a limited amount of tickets will be available at a reduced price,” said RA Events director Raimonds Strokšs. “The grandstands will be similar to those in 2017 – using the circuit’s exisiting grandstands combined with the purpose-built non-permanent grandstands upgraded with a separate seat for every ticket holder. As in past events, the seats will not be numbered, making it possible for fans to choose their own spot!”

The Latvian event will also play host to the FIA European Rallycross Championship for Supercar, and Super1600.
