Sweden’s Johan Kristoffersson was the quickest driver in Q4 at Loheac, round nine of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in France and qualifies top of the Intermediate Classification.

Kristoffersson won race five in Q4, his time 2.2 seconds faster than that of his PSRX Volkswagen Sweden team mate Petter Solberg, who won race four. France’s Sebastien Loeb and Sweden’s Timmy Hansen also bettered Solberg’s time, Loeb qualifying second in the Intermediate standings. Fifth time for Sweden’s Mattias Ekstrom in Q4 moved the 2016 World RX Champion to third, and will join Kristoffersson on the front row for semi-final one this afternoon. Norway’s Petter Solberg and America’s Ken Block will start on row two, with Germany’s Timo Scheider and Finland’s Toomas Heikkinen on row three. Schieder was sixth quickest in Q4 after a close race until the final corner with Latvia’s Reinis Nitiss.

Peugeot-Hansen pair Loeb and Hansen will line up on the front row for semi-final two, ahead of Norway’s Andreas Bakkerud and the third Peugeot-Hansen driver, Kevin Hansen, on row two. Latvia’s Janis Baumanis and Nitiss will complete the semi-final two grid. France’s Jean-Baptiste Dubourg is first reserve for the semi-finals, and despite winning race one and two in Q4, Russia’s Timur Timerzyanov and Finland’s Niclas Gronholm didn’t make it into the top 12.
