Sweden’s Johan Kristoffersson was again quickest in Q3 at the World RX of Sweden, round seven of the FIA World Rallycross Championship this morning at Holjes.

The World RX Championship leader led his race from the front to take the best time away from his PSRX Volkswagen team mate, Petter Solberg, who had set the best time in Q3 race four before Kristoffersson started on pole position in race five.

Norway’s Andreas Bakkerud took his joker on lap one of the same race as Kristoffersson and finished second on track. The Hoonigan Racing Division driver continues to hold third position behind Kristoffersson and Sebastien Loeb in the Intermediate Classification. Team Peugeot-Hansen’s Timmy Hansen was fourth and Latvia’s Janis Baumanis won the second race of the session in the Team STARD Ford Fiesta to set the fifth quickest time.

Latvia’s Reinis Nitiss and Russia’s Timur Timerzyanov had contact after Timerzyanov took his joker on lap four of their race. Sweden’s Sebastien Eriksson capitalised when the pair lost time to take the race win and was 12th quickest in his return weekend to World RX. American’s Ken Block had a spin and Sweden’s Kevin Hansen had mechanical problems.
