The entry list for the final round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship at Rosario in Argentina (25-27 November) has been revealed by the FIA.

The World RX field will be led by 2016 champion Mattias Ekstrom, who secured the title in Germany last month, but it’s all to play for in the Teams’ Championship standings, where Ekstrom and EKS team mate Topi Heikkinen will take on Team Peugeot-Hansen pairing Sebastien Loeb and Timmy Hansen as the two squads battle it out for the Teams’ crown.

Two-time DTM Champion Timo Scheider will make his third appearance of the season for the Muennich Motorsport team, at the wheel of a Seat Ibiza RX alongside Rene Munnich, while the team’s former driver, Latvia’s Reinis Nitiss will make his third appearance of the year in an OlsbergsMSE Ford Fiesta. Nitiss will deputise for regular driver Niclas Gronholm at the event alongside Sweden’s Kevin Eriksson, who won the penultimate round in Germany.

In addition to the regular permanent teams, former European Championship Group N event-winner Nick Jones will make his World RX debut in a JRM Racing World Rallycross Mini RX, having worked as an engineer for the team this season.

Sweden’s Robin Larsson returns to the circuit at which he scored his maiden World RX victory last season, where 12 months ago Latvia’s Janis Baumanis also impressed on his debut for the World RX Team Austria squad.
