The 2016 FIA World Rallycross Championship features seven permanent teams, each with two drivers. Those drivers work hard together as team mates in their respective teams with the goal of becoming World Rallycross Champions. That means sharing information about driving, tracks, data and setups.
But, outside of the car, how well do they know each other?
In the second of the series, we caught up with World RX Team Austria team mates Timur Timerzyanov and Janis Baumanis to find out more, with some quick-fire questions.
Timur – How old is Janis?
TT: “Ermm, 23?”

JB: “Nooo, a Renault Clio Sport!”

JB: “Oh come on! That’s basically the same thing!”
Timur – What was Janis’ first experience in motorsport?
TT: “Go karts?”
JB: “No cross karts, but I know Timur did karting!”
TT: “Argh! My history is too easy!”

TT: “He likes salads I think! Greek salad?”

JB: “In Europe, three titles?”

JB: “Oh man! I know that in 2013 he didn’t win any races but he did win the championship, so probably 2012?”
TT: “I really have to think about this one….! Ah Finland in 2012, where I won the championship!”

TT: “Hockenheim and England, fourth in the semi-finals.”
