Poland’s Bohdan Ludwiczak has confirmed he will compete in a full season of the new-for-2014 FIA World Rallycross Championship at the wheel of a Ford Fiesta T16 Supercar.

Ludwiczak started his motorsport career in 1982 when he took part in the Polish Rally Championship and in 1993 he finished runner-up. The following year Ludwiczak jumped ship to compete in rallycross and was crowned the Supercar champion in Poland in both 2002 and 2003.

Ludwiczak is the second Pole to confirm his entry in this year's World RX.  Last month Polish national Super1600 Champion Krzysztof Skorupski confirmed he will drive for the LD Motorsports World RX team at the wheel of a Citroen DS3 Supercar.

“I want to continue my motorsport career in the best possible way.  We’ve made some upgrades to the Fiesta and now I’m looking forward to doing a full season in the new World Championship,” concluded Ludwiczak.

Ludwiczak will get his World RX season underway when he competes at World RX of Portugal in Montalegre (4-5 May).
