The FIA World Rallycross Championship’s return to Kouvola for the CapitalBox World RX of Finland this weekend (September 29 – 30) will be broadcast live by Finnish national broadcaster YLE.

Fans in Finland will be able to watch the two hour live show from 1500 local time on YLE TV2 during rounds three and four of World RX on Saturday and Sunday, where no less than five home drivers will take part, led by GRX Taneco Teams’ Niclas Gronholm.

"It's great that the World Rallycross Championship is coming back to Finland for the first time in six years. Rallycross is a thrilling TV sport and we're delighted to show it to our audience. There will be two hours of intense action on TV2 both Saturday and Sunday starting at 15.00,” said YLE Sport, News Editor of, Ossi Saarinen.

Event organiser SET Promotion has arranged the Finnish rounds of World RX in just two months, due to the Cornavirus pandemic, but is excited to be showcasing World Championship sport in the Finland via the national broadcaster. “After a lot of hard work in only a really short time to prepare, we are ready for the World RX weekend in Kouvola. It’s great to have YLE as a television partner, who are broadcasting a two hour show on both days with the fans able to watch the exciting racing from their homes in Finland, along with giving a showcase to this event and the sport around the world,” said SET Promotion’s Event Manager, Sami Puumalainen.
