Andreas Bakkerud was the highest scoring Fantasy RX driver in round seven of the FIA World Rallycross Championship at Trois-Rivieres in Canada and starts among the hot picks for round eight at Loheac in France this weekend.

It was Blitzerflitzer who claimed a narrow victory in Canada RX, by just six points over ShaneMartinRally in second, with FMsport seven points further back. In the overall standings, Blitzerflitzer’s result meant a solid climb up to second overall, while Tom61 moved into the lead with three rounds to go, just 41 points ahead. TrefusisRX is third overall and with a strong weekend, the Estonian entrant could move into the points lead.

Having dropped down to 11th from the overall lead after the Swedish round, a strong result in Canada lifted MTS Racing back up to order, into fifth, while Adam’s Racers dropped from the lead to fourth after the North American event.

Other high scoring drivers from Canada RX include Janis Baumanis, Timur Timerzyanov, Guerlain Chicherit and Anton Marklund.

At Loheac RX this weekend, any of the drivers in Pool A – and more – could win the event, so choose wisely! A number of wildcard entrants mix things up in Pool D while a dark horse for the weekend could be ESmotorsport’s new Russian signing, autocross star Matvey Furazhkin.

Get your predictions in for Loheac RX before Midnight on Friday (August 30).

Good luck!
