GRIDS REVEALED FOR EURO RX IN GERMANY
Friday 16th of August 2019
The new FIA World Rallycross Championship Q1 grid draw system has been used for the first time in Euro RX at round four of the FIA European Rallycross Championship at Estering in Germany.
Instead of the Q1 grid being randomly drawn by computer, drivers are now randomised into an order, to decide which driver will pick their preferred grid placing for Q1 first. Each driver gets to pick their grid position for Q1 from the available positions, until the grids are full.
In Euro RX Supercar standings leader Robin Larsson took P4 on the grid in race two, as Czech Republic’s Ales Fucik will start from pole in race one. In Super1600, points leader Aydar Nuriev will take P2 in race five, next to Spa RX rival Egor Sanin on pole position.Share this story on Facebook Share this story on Twitter
