PREVIEW: FANTASY RX IN CANADA

Friday 2nd of August 2019

Adam’s Racers leads the 2019 Fantasy Rallycross standings ahead of round seven of the FIA World Rallycross Championship at Trois-Rivieres in Canada this weekend.

MTS Racing led the Fantasy RX points before round six at the World RX of Sweden, but with a poor performance, MTS Racing has dropped to 11th, as Adam’s Racers climbed from joint second into the lead and is 97 points ahead of Tom61, with Latvian entrant Bundzis holding third overall.

In Sweden last time out it was Gecko Racing who took the win, with a team of Kevin Hansen, Kevin Abbring, Sebastian Eriksson and Kjetil Larsen. They finished 100 points ahead of Niklasljunggren in second, the runner up making their debut in the series.

With a strong field of permanent drivers for the Canadian round this weekend, only Norway’s Andreas Bakkerud in Pool A is yet to win an event this year, as Pool B could be the most hotly contested set, with any of the five drivers capable of finishing on the podium.

The hot tip for the weekend though could well be GCK Academy’s Rokas Baciuska in Pool C. If you’re not sure why, make sure to study the results from his first two events with the team’s Renault Megane RS RX in Norway and Sweden.

Get your predictions in for Canada RX before Midnight on Friday (August 2).

Good luck!
