Fantasy RX competitors face the most difficult challenge of the season so far as round six of the FIA World Rallycross Championship heads to the ‘Magic Weekend’ at Holjes in Sweden.

It will be most challenging because a capacity World RX Supercar entry of 25 cars means regular picks in Fantasy RX won’t necessarily return the usual rewards, and a range of wildcard entrants could spring a surprise and take a substantial points payout.

RALLYCROSS THE WORLD claimed victory last time out at Hell RX with a team of Kevin Hansen, Niclas Gronholm, Krisztian Szabo and Kevin Abbring, and such was the chaos of the wet semi-finals and final that even with only one correct bonus answer, victory was secured. Tied for second was ArchieRacing17 and THE DUDE, only 27 points off victory but with a team that included Timmy Hansen instead of brother Kevin, and Cyril Raymond instead of Szabo. The second place finishers did go one better with the bonus questions however, getting two correct.

MTS Racing leads the Fantasy RX standings at the halfway point of the year, 96 points ahead of Adam’s Racers in second. Magnar Solheim is third overall.

Hot tips for this weekend could include the returning Latvia’s Reinis Nitiss in Pool A, after a strong showing in Abu Dhabi, ESmotorsport-Labas GAS’ Kevin Abbring, who starred on his debut in Norway and 2016 World RX of Germany winner Kevin Eriksson, who will race an updated Olsbergs MSE Ford Fiesta. All of the Pools are tough, but Pool D is made especially hard by having one more driver than the others.

Get your predictions in for Holjes RX before Midnight on Friday (July 5).

Good luck!
