Germany’s Timo Scheider started his motorsport career in 1989 in karting. In 1995, he moved on to compete in German Formula Renault and the following year tried German Formula 3. In 2000 he transferred to DTM with Opel before swapping to Audi in 2006. He went on to become DTM Champion twice (2008 and 2009) and since 2010, he has been driving with the Audi Sport Team Phoenix. He competed in 3 World RX events last season for the ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport Team, recording a highest finish of 4th in Argentina RX, the team's best result so far. After retiring in the end of 2016 from a highly successful DTM career, he will join the rebranded MJP Racing Team Austria team for a full 2017 World RX campaign.
