With Guerlain Chicherit’s Prodrive-developed GC Kompetition Renault Megane R.S Supercar still being prepared for the 2018 World RX season, the Frenchman will nonetheless sget some useful Silverstone mileage in at the wheel of the Euro RX G-Fors Renault Clio.
Elsewhere, Sweden’s Kevin Eriksson, who won the German round of World RX at Estering in 2016, will race an RX150 single-seater buggy on Saturday to learn the circuit ahead of the Speedmachine weekend. He will go up against 2017 British RX champion Nathan Heathcote, who is planning to race in the RX2 International Series this season - which will also feature on the Speedmachine bill - and is also using the buggy class to learn the new circuit this weekend.
