PSRX Volkswagen Sweden’s Johan Kristoffersson completed a clean sweep of quickest qualifying times at the World RX of Norway, round five of the FIA World Rallycross Championship by winning Q3 in Norway.

GRX Taneco’s Niclas Gonholm set the quickest time so far by winning race four and finished the session fourth, as the top three in race five, Kristoffersson, Team Peugeot Total’s Timmy Hansen and EKS Audi Sport’s Andreas Bakkerud took the top three times.

Peugeot’s Kevin Hansen was fifth quickest and team mate Sebastien Loeb battled back from missing his joker in Q3 to win Q4 race one and be sixth.

There was drama for EKS’ Mattias Ekstrom, who was unable to leave the start line in Q4 race three due to a technical problem and GRX’s Timur Timerzyanov didn’t even make it to the grid after experiencing problems in pre-grid. Even with the problem, Ekstrom has made it through to this afternoon’s semi-finals, but Timerzyanov missed out.

PSRX’s Kristoffersson and Petter Solberg will start on the front row for semi-final one, with Peugeot brothers Timmy Hansen and Kevin Hansen on the front row for semi-final two.

Bakkerud, Loeb, Olsbergs MSE’s Robin Larsson and Sweden’s Anton Marklund will complete the grid for semi-final one. Gronholm and OMSE’s Kevin Eriksson will share row two for semi-final two, Ekstrom and Team STARD’s Janis Baumanis will compete the semi-final two line-up.

Norway’s Tommy Rustad will be first reserve for the semi-finals at his home round.
