WORLD RX SIGNS WTF1 AS DIGITAL MEDIA PARTNER

The FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy has signed an agreement with WTF1, one of the fastest growing online motorsport platforms in the world, to become World RX’s digital media partner.

The partnership will begin from this weekend, with the Cooper Tires World RX of Great Britain, the fourth round of World RX 2018 being held alongside the Speedmachine festival at Silverstone in the UK (May 25-27).

Along with publishing exclusive post-race content from each World RX event, the Championship taking place over 12-rounds across three continents in 2018, WTF1 will also attend a number of races to create exclusive rallycross content for the brand’s hugely-popular channels.

Founded in 2010, WTF1 is one of the fastest-growing media brands in motorsport, with over 800,000 highly engaged followers and 12 million monthly video views across social platforms. Part of Car Throttle, which happens to be the largest autos brand by video views, WTF1 will broaden the visibility and awareness of rallycross to a highly-engaged and growing motorsport audience, while the rallycross content will give WTF1’s fans an insight into the fast-paced, drama-filled, door-to-door action of World RX.

The Speedmachine festival this weekend will provide action on track from the FIA World Rallycross Championship, RX2 International Series and Americas Rallycross Championship, while Speedmachine's packed entertainment bill ensures there will be something for each event-goer to enjoy. This includes headline live music from the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Lethal Bizzle and Ministry of Sound, Esports, drifting, iconic car displays and the very best street food, not to mention a truly unique opportunity for attendees to get behind the wheel of a performance car and drive the world-famous Silverstone Formula 1 circuit.
